Patina Project: Work in Progress
I’m working on a set of 10 samples of patinas on copper. Patina and enameling samples are usually rectangular, so naturally, mine are circles. I also plan to make some CopprClay and BronzClay circles and patina those.
Above, number 7 is Liver of Sulphur, number 8 is Baldwin’s Patina.
Here’s a copper circle in a fuming set up. waiting for the magic to happen.
These pieces are in perlite and wrapped in fabric, respectively.
After a peak at these, I put them back in for more time for the patina to develop.
