Don’t you just love it when people post things about their creative process? In an interesting series of posts by jeweler John Brana, he shows his Anenome Rings, originally made in PMC, and now made in sterling, using conventional metals.

Here’s the PMC ring.

Here’s the sterling ring.

What I love about his posting both rings is it really shows you the affect on your design of metal clay.

Which one do you like better?

I like John Brana’s PMC rings better than the sterling ones. I understand what he is saying about the differences between metal clay & sterling. However, I like the design of the PMC ring better - the hollow tubes vs the wire. It has a more organic feel to it (which PMC does really well) and I like that.
